“Handling Reservation by Phone”

Reservation         : “Good morning, edOTEL Hotel. Reservation section, Eka’s speaking, how may I help you ?”
Guest                   : “Yes, good morning. I want to make a reservation in your hotel.”
Reservation         : “I’m sorry, madam. May I know, who’s speaking, please?”
Guest                   : “I’m Novi Antari.”
Reservation        : “And may I know  who is the reservation for, Ms. Novi ?”
Guest                   : “That’s for me, please. “
Reservation          : “Alright, madam. Would you like to spell your name for me, please?”
Guest                    : “Okay. My name is Novi Antari, N-O-V-I  for Novi and A-N-T-A-R-I for Antari.”
Reservation           : “Thank you, madam. Your name is Novi Antari, November – Oscar – Victor  – India for Novi and Alpha – November – Tango –  Alpha – Romeo – India for Antari, is that’s right, madam?”
Guest                     : “Yes you’re right.”
Reservation           : “ Alright, madam. What kind of room do you want and for how long you will stay in our hotel?”
Guest                    : “ I want one twin room and I’ll stay in your hotel for three night.”
Reservation           : “May I know about the arrival date, madam?”
Guest                     : “Yes, of course. I’ll be arriving on 18th October 2014.”
Reservation           : “So, you’ll be departing on 21st October 2014. Is that’s right, madam?”
Guest                 : “Yes, of course.”
Reservation      : “How many persons is the reservation for, madam ?”
Guest                  : “Just 2 persons, me and my sister. “
Reservation        : “Alright, madam. Please wait a moment. I’ll check the available room for you on that period.”
Guest                  : “Okay, yes please.”
( The reservationist check the available room in the reservation chart. Few minutes later )
Reservation     : “Excuse me, Ms. Novi. Thank you for your waiting. You’re very lucky today because the room is available for you on that period.”
Guest               : “Oh yes, that’s good.”
Reservation        : “Alright, Ms. Novi. May I give you some information about the room?”
Guest                  : “Sure.”
Reservation        : “In our hotel, you’ll get Melati room number 8. The room facilities such as : private balcony, living room, kitchenette, refrigerator with mini bar, wardrobe, television, air conditioner, and safety deposit box. And bath room complete with shower, bath tub, and wash basin complete with hot and cold running water. And also we have two restaurant and bar, coffee shop, meeting room, tailor, laundry, salon and beauty, and many more. The room rate is Rp 350.000 net include breakfast. Alright, Ms. Novi, would you like  to take this room.”
Guest               : “Yes, that would be fine for me.” 
Reservation     : “Alright, Ms. Novi. May I know about your address an your phone number?”
Guest               : “Yes, my address is at 25 Melbourne St. Australia and my phone number is 088070850.”
Reservation     : “May I know about your flight time and flight number, madam?”
Guest               : “Yes, of course. My flight number is GA125 at 10 o’clock in the morning.”
Reservation        : “ Any special request that you want, madam?”
Guest                  : “Oh. . . Yes, of course. I want a flowers arrangement in my room and also no ashtray in my room.”
Reservation        : “ Is there anything else that you want, Ms. Novi?”
Guest                  : “No, just that.”
Reservation     : “Alright, madam. May I repeat your reserve, Ms. Novi?”
Guest               : “Yes please.”
Reservation     : “Alright, madam. Your name is Ms. Novi Antari, and you request one twin room that is Melati room number 8 for you and your sister. You’ll stay in our hotel for three night start from 18th October 2014 until 21st October 2014. And you want non smoking room with flowers arrangement in your room. Your address is at 25 Melbourne St. Australia and your phone number is 088070850, your flight number is GA125 at 10 o’clock. Am I right, Ms. Novi?”
Guest               : “ Yes, of course. You’re right.”
Reservation     : “I’m sorry, madam. May I ask you about the deposit? Because our hotel has regulation that you must pay deposit for one night. That’s Rp 350.000.
Guest               : “Sure, I’ll pay it by credit card.”
Reservation     : “Alright, madam. May I know what kind of credit card do you have, madam?
Guest               : “I have VISA. So I’ll pay by VISA.”
Reservation     : “Alright, madam. About the payment, we’ll send you a letter of authorization by email. Please fill the letter and send  back to our hotel include your copy of credit card front and back, and copy of your ID. We will send you a reconfirm letter as soon as you send them back to us. So, may I know about your email address, Ms. Novi?”
Guest               : “Okay, my email address is nooviantari@gmail.com and I’ll fill that letter as soon as I can.”
Reservation    : “Well, Ms. Novi. Thank you for choosing our hotel and we will wait for your coming to our hotel. See you in our hotel Ms. Novi”
Guest               : “Okay, thank you for your service.”
Reservation     : “My pleasure, Ms. Novi. Have a nice day.”
Guest               : “Have a nice day too.”
